This Colt Single Action Army revolver is one of those rebuilt by the Springfield Armory in 1895. The numbers are : 70881 on the frame, 5981 on the triggerguard, 269 on the backstrap, 6706 ( D.F.C.) on the cylinder, and 8437 (R.A.C.) on the barrel. These are known to collectors as Artillery Models. This revolver is in excellent,original condition with 80% blue and 60% case colors. Good grips with a readable RAC cartouche.
